Just thought I would post some info on Scarlets Deadman Canyon (the ingenious name given by Oldno7). The canyon is located in the Red Cliffs Rec Area in St. George. It does not get done much, if at all, but is an awsome example of anchor work throughout the 6 raps. With one cairn anchor, 2 deadman, a chock anchor, a fixed on a bush, and a macrame off a bush, it is a nice morning canyon. The approach requires some good scrambling and routefinding, but pays off with views at the top and also some beautiful short slots. The top of the canyon/first rap is about here, 37
