Cloud Peak Labor Day Weekend

Kessler and I climbed Cloud Peak, one of the highest mountains in Wyoming while Kim and Shaylee hiked with us to several lakes.

Cloud Peak was supposed to be a difficult ascent (according to several sources)..., but we didn't find it too bad. Kim and Shaylee stayed behind while Kessler and I summitted just in case it was difficult, but it wasn't bad. The ascent was much more difficult than say Timpanogos, but easier than say Capitol Peak.

When I did this one, the mosquitoes were horrendous at the lakes up there. Reminded me of the Sierra's but really a great summit (no mosquitoes up there). Nice TR and pics. :2thumbs:

Scott, you have one amazing family! :hail2thechief: We took our kids to a lot of cool places in our day. Slots, NPs, lakes, etc. but to get them to backpack and camp at a remote destination. No Way!
