Headed to Yellowstone next week, there has been a lot of bear activity this year. Bear spray seems to be the item to have or you need to be the fastest runner in your group.

The second victim (not sure about the first) was also by himself which is a big no no in bear country! (I recently read Death in Yellowstone and many victims of bear attacks are solitary hikers)

I'm heading there in two weeks!!! I just love Yellowstone after Labor Day!

He also didn't have bear spray which is another big no no in bear country as well... I'll be packing my bear spray.

We'll be there the 9th through the 17th. Full Moon, Elk rut might be ramping up. I'll be picking up bear spray in the park.

If you're there that week look for a silver Pilot.
