Brooks Trance 9 Running Shoes

I just picked these up today:

They are my first pair of official "Running Shoes" versus the all sports general shoe, so I'm not sure what to expect. I've got two bad knees so I'm looking to go easy on the joints, and I've been hearing good things about Brooks' shoes.

I was recommended the Brooks Beast, but they felt a little heavy, plus they are pretty wide on the bottom, I guess for stability. I really don't have that problem so I went with the Trance.

Cool, thanks. I almost went with more of a trail shoe, maybe to get into trail running. But I think I'll keep these strictly as paved running shoes. I have the feeling if I run on the dirt trails, I'll really be wishing I had my bike. :mrgreen:
