Carbondale Mountain Fair

Once a year the freaks, rednecks, new age hipsters, hollywood celebrities, punks, captains of industry, anarchists and (new this year) under cover tea party members converge on our little park and put on Mountain Fair. In it's 40th year, it is getting better. People selling their stuff, great food and music. So if you are driving by, stop in. A few pics:

Just saw a Brazilian band called Sambadende. Really good.

Melanie Griffith. She has lost weight I think.

Kyle Hollingsworth from String Cheese Incident is closing the fair tonight. Should be good.
Last night was a hoot. If you get the chance to see Sambadende do it. The hole park was packed with people moving. Just couldn't help it.
