I definitely like the idea for the mobile spice rack lol. I'm gonna have to check into that.

Only issue I could see with this is that the container has a chocolate smell which 'bleeds' to other things. Another issue would be that the stronger spices, IE garlic\smoked paprika and such could 'bleed' through the straws and mix with the other spices.


Tho I doubt you'd leave those things full all the time so those issues may not be actual issues.

Love both these ideas and I just wasted 30 min surfing instructables sight, pretty cool stuff.

WTF? you mean there are more than two spices? i thought lemon pepper and garlic were it.

Great idea! Going to give this a shot before my trip this weekend :)

A quick wash with soap and water will eliminate the majority of the residue... anything past that I imagine will be unnoticeable.

Any spices 'contaminating' the other would also be minimal, and also likely unnoticeable, but even if it was... you're backpacking/camping, does it really matter?
