Yampa - Colorado Rivers

Just traveled over the Yampa Sunday, it is thumping. My husband used to be a river ranger in LaDore and was amazed that it is mid-July and the Yampa is still screaming like that. Was in Cataract Canyon June 5 2011 at 68,000 cfs, am returning to see flows are recorded today July 12 2011 at 61,000 cfs. WOW! what a water year.

We just got home from Gates of Lodore yesterday, I can't remember what the Yampa was at but I think we got off the Green when it was @ 4,700
