I was going to leave a detailed report on here but after putting it up on my blog I guess I got kinda lazy. go to http://ryanfreakingwood.blogspot.com Specifically these two posts:

If you don't want to go to my blog I will just sum up most of the trip. It rained all week long and we even got massive hail when we were at Echo Lake.

We couldn't get to the Crystal Lake Trailhead since there was still snow all over the road for quite a distance up just past the trial lake campground.

We also couldn't make it through the back road into trial/washington due to snow drifts and mass amounts of water flowing down the roads (we made it 3 miles away from Trial the back way before turning around). I had the truck in 4 low and wasn't going to risk going much farther this way.

Echo was actually fun despite the massive hail we got while there. We didn't catch any prizes but were able to snag a cute little brookie. With the mass amount of rain we were getting while at Echo we couldn't do much of anything.

Lost, Lily, and Teapot lakes didn't have many people at them at all. But, we also weren't having much luck at those anyways. Trial lake yielded us some good fish to eat but not a ton of fish nor were they by any means record breakers.

We mostly just ended up having a rainy camping trip with a little fishing instead of a hiking trip with lots of fishing. But oh well, there are still a few months left up there that we can take advantage of.

If we didn't have my 18 month old with us things would have been much different but I would rather have a non-productive trip with my boy there than have any trip at all without him  I want him to grow up with a love for the Uinta Mountains like I have.

Sorry to hear about all the rain and hail. I'm sure it was still good to be out and about. It probably was a tiger trout you caught (you mentioned in your blog). I was surprised to catch one in Priord Lake last year.

Thanks for the TR and Uinta update.
