Yikes.

I had a friend that had kind of a funny proposal story. He was on vacation with his girlfriend and his family, and he told her they needed have a "talk". He then told her that he had been thinking about their relationship and wanted to know how she would feel about starting to see other people. She started crying and got really sad saying "I would hate that" and then he said "me too. Will you marry me". She was so mad that it really ruined the moment for her, but he and I have laughed about it for years.
