The Mule Trails are open and gorgeous, but last week the North Ogden Divide was closed so we'd have to drive via Pineview Dam (which I'd be OK with)

It'd be nice if the Divide opened up though, but I assume a few more weeks.
Meeting Place? 5:30 at Either Rainbow Gardens or possibly at the Skyline Trail Head (park on the road for free, pay for the paved parking lot)

We should put together a northern/southern ride soon. Perhaps next Tuesday at Mueller? How does the upper section look I wonder?

That big trench has pretty much killed the trail, trespassers are getting ticketed, according to moab mark. $170  We could only get up about 2 miles or so.
Unless of course you're talking about starting from North Canyon.

you can only go 1.5 miles up Mueller and no way in hell can you get a bike across. Screw mueller lets go to snowbasin, trails are in awesome shape and not very frequented as of late. We can do a greens pond, last chance, sunshine for around 9 mile loop which will take about an hour or ride art nord, than greens, etc or a shuttle after a little climb up top?

When will construction be completed? Will they then reopen the trail?

I'll bet it will be a while yet. I'm pretty much going to count Mueller out until maybe Autumn.

I would vote for Snowbasin. Trails are in beautiful condtion. Lots of bugs, so, couldn't stop and rest for long at all.
There is a race at Snowbasin every Wednesday night. They will soon be riding up green pond/last chance through sunshine and down needles. The lower trails like art nord and east fork will be closed until Friday the 1st. With the overcast and cooler weather tonight I think you guys should do skyline. Take advantage of the sun not beating down on you up skyline.
Plus I cant go tonight so you can climb that steep bitch without me.:stud:

FYI: You can hit Mueller from the other side, by going up North Canyon then down Mueller to the trench. It's a biggish ride, 18 miles, 2500 ft climbing. The only sucky part is the short double track section at the start of North Canyon.
