This was one of our favorite places to car camp, when so inclined. It is located up the Arch Canyon road that crosses both Mule Canyons and climbs to Texas Flat, @ the rim of the junction of Arch and Texas Canyon. Turn off Hwy. 95 (heading west) just before the Mule Canyon Ruins sign, cross Mule and North Mule and start the climb. I remember one semi sketchy ledge that needs negotiating, easier than it looked, but 4wd drive with decent clearance is necessary. After about a mile or so the road forks, go right. Then it forks again, go right and descend to the rim of the canyon and the camp spot. Scout the descent first, as I have nearly been caught in the mud and the snow, trying to get out.

There is a rather prominent point that juts out into Arch Canyon, where someone built a steel stairway to more easily facilitate access to the point.
There has been water flowing here in the spring and fall. This visit was in March of 2005. My point and shoot at the time does not really capture the quality of the light here. My apologies.
The stair is to the left of Kyle:
