Pleiades Canyon Conditions

Has anyone been in Pleiades Canyon lately? I would like to do it when it has water but not at full flood.

I was there this past Thursday to check conditions and it's flowing stronger than I've ever seen it. We're currently not guiding there and won't be till the levels drop. I even hesitate to go there on a private trip with friends right now. It's pretty gnarly.

Thanks for the quick reply. What is your guess as to when it will be down to a resonable level? A couple weeks? Next Month?

I would say for a "reasonable level" would be in mid July. After that, you should be in great shape. I took my 62-yr old mom down last year in August. Good times! She did really good too.

I checked it out on Thursday too. It was just me and two experienced friends. Our tolerance for risk is higher than most peoples' but we still backed down and didn't feel remotely guilty about doing so. Give it a while.
