The water was 43 degrees F which is ridiculous for June, and not to mention that a couple of miles up the mountain from us Snowbasin was selling Ski Lift tickets still.

But it was a good day, not too crowded for one of the first nice Saturdays of the year.

Still.... June? Somebody please turn off that anti Global Warming mechanism already and let's get back to normal.

Anyways, we all had a good time, Mark and Shad both brought their boats out.

Here are some pictures and video with the GoPro.

You use the same liquid-force board as we do.

Brrrr...what a cold lake

Yeah, it was a little chilly. Everybody else wussed out and wore the drysuit though. :cold:

The Liquid Force board is Mark's, and I think Shad has a Hyperlite. The Liquid Force is larger, slower on carving but more stable than the Hyperlite.

I've haven't played on a hyperlite, but the liquidforce we can ride with no rope for hours it seems like.

Have you ever tried the wakeskate? Now, that's fun. I think it's more fun than wakeboarding, however it's even better because the crash is soft since you're not going 20+mph. It's easy to carve and jump with skate.

Aren't you going close to wakeboard speed on a wake skateboard? I've done it once, basically took the bindings off of the wakeboard and wore shoes. My knees just can't handle much of those speeds anymore, that's why I pretty much stick to surfing.
