I have heard that this trail is still pretty ugly. I will be there and ready to ride none the less.

It seems that a lot of peeps have been riding in the mud up in the Draper area. :nono: I've never done that...lesson learned. :chairshot:

Does anybody have any updated info. regarding the water/mud on this trail? I'm hoping that it will be good to go.

I was there Saturday. There was a stream running down the whole trail. It's a little more challenging, you will get wet, and you will smile! The roughest spots are up near the top. I would enter from the western trail (or the first entrance you come to), the eastern one had spots that were not ride able (according to people coming down that way, I came in on the western one).

We did get a little rain last night too. I don't think it was much, just sprinkles. Still planning on the ride tonight. Anybody else riding?

I hiked Ensign Peak last night with my kids (which is just down the road from the Bobsled) and it was dry. We'll see... :ne_nau:

I am going to give this one a while yet. Hopefully I will end up regretting my decision and you guys can gloat about how much fun you had.....

There might be a bit of mud around, but it should be avoidable.

Well mud wasn't really a problem on the bobsled. Riding down the stream seemed to provide most of the excitement.

Only a couple of pictures before the ride were taken. There is a nice view from Terrace Hills Park though.

Very nice. I'm glad that things are starting to dry out. I ended up riding the new freeride trail outside of Park City. Very fun!

We should definitely make this a destination for one of the Tuesday rides!

That would definitely be a great time. Consider it in the queue.

Somebody else will have to carry the torch next week. I will be out and plan on rejoining the crew when I return. PunchKing and I talked about 5-6 good options for future rides.

Mueller Park (to elephant rock)
Draper (Ghost Falls, Clarks, BST)
Park City (Flying Dog, Bobs Basin, Glenwild Loop
Millcreek Canyon (The Pipeline)
Yellow Fork
AF Canyon??
Mormon Pioneer Trail??

I heard mueller was rideable all the way to Rudys, my bro in law went hiking there and talked to some bikers when he was at the rock and they said they went all the way and didn't have too much mud on them? Not sure if I believe them but I am going to do a sat morning ride to find out if they were fibbing..

Mueller is closed at 1.5 miles. There is an un-crossable trench cutting across the trail. However, you can ride North Canyon up to Rudy's and even down Mueller to the trench. There are a few wet spots, but it's definitely GTG.
