I wanted to pass the word about the Mt Ogden midweek race series and that original scheduled first race of June 8th will not be happening (Obviously) it is looking pretty good to be able to host the first race on June 22nd. For information regarding the race you can go to www.mtogdenraceseries.com
As far as the conditions go, the lower Forest Service Trails are still closed due to the trails being so wet and with all the runoff taking place. Good news about here is that the FS crews are all out in force working on the trails and there have not been any horses on any of the trails this year. The Snowbasin Lower trails still have aquite a bit of Snow on them, we are hoping to be able to get those opened up for riding with in the next couple of weeks. As far as the upper mountain go, we have over 100 inches mid mountain. We will be making an announcement soon to reopen the gondola and middle bowl tripple for skiing/boarding on weekends. Thats a little insider secret, since we cant bike the trails yet we might as well ride them:). Check out the mountains website for more on that.
