We got engaged! We had planned on getting engaged this spring for nearly a year now (I wanted to be done with my coursework). But how the proposal would go down would be a surprise. Dating almost 3 years.
We did some skiing on the Wellsvilles (Cache Valley) this Saturday. We were almost to the top, but I had to have a snack as I was starving and didn't think I could make it until lunch (at the ridge). So he went on ahead to scope out the best route to the ridge (common of him so I don't have to expend precious energy). After my snack I carry on, and I can see him on the ridge. He said to follow his skin track at it was the most efficient way up. However, it was mainly because the proposal was written in snow, a word at each switchback!
Then at the top, he got his knee, hauled the ring up there and proposed! It was the most perfect thing ever. We can see the "proposal" point from town wherever we are!
