I'd heard about the happening, when visiting the canyon myself.
I've not seen this movie before.
Glad you made it out man! Unbelievable, 17 miles away from the storm....
Nature can show us extremes, from devine beauty into massive destruction.

many thanks for posting these three videos. I had seen them when they first aired on ksl. and just watched them again.

it's great to know they're on the web as I had always wanted to show people your interview. its hard to imagine what it was like or how you've felt all these years since.

I do hope you one day are able to make the film depicting the event. it seems it would be a good way of raising awareness of how severe and sudden flash floods can be.
