I can't go tonight, rain anyways, but I'll most likely ride tomorrow.

Does anybody know how the lower snowbasin area looks, like Green Ponds?

How about Skyline trail from Pineview Dam?

Bonneville Shoreline Trail is a great trail, it's just the only trail I've been on this month, 4X, and there's no way I'm going to film it again for a while. :haha:

yeah covered in snow......get on snowbasins web cams they still have snow down in wildflower meadows, greens is not a place that recovers good from the weather due to the canopy. Skyline is probably muddy, but I bet the switchbacks are clear but hopefully not washed out with all this rain. you could probably make it easy to the overlook since there is quite a bit of sun on that side?

You could change it up and ride from 29th to Taylor canyon, then all the way to the top of Bues instead of the first bench.:stud: You could get some cool shots from up there. There is a tricky spot by a big rock towards the top that would look cool on film.

If you start at 29th you wont be so burned out for the climb up Bues. Still the same stuff just a little different.:ne_nau:

I have kids baseball so I cant make it but I rode it Sat it is fun!

True, I'll have to try that. I've been up to the top(?) of Beus a few times I think, past that rock you have to sneak around and then it domes off, but I've never been down to see what it's like to the Beus TrailHead, but I'd like to one of these days.

It is cool to drop into Beus canyon. It has some fun drops and steep downhills. The only bad thing is when you get to the trailhead at 46th if you want to climb back out it is a killer. It is almost better to ride the road back to the par course above Weber State and go around the new water tank in Strong canyon and head back to 29th that way.

Live2ride....I will ride with you. What time and where are you thinking? I live in South O so I like to start at the Par course above Weber and head North as far as I feel like going then ride back to the top of the Wash and down to the car. We are leaving town Friday afternoon so I will have to go before noon.

How does one get to the top of Malan's peak. Is just ride up the 29th and then take one of the taylor canyon switchbacks?

My buddy Leo is wanting to ride tomorrow, Saturday. I'm not able to ride but I told him I'd see who else might be up for a ride. Anybody hitting the trail tomorrow in Ogden?

Here's his number, shoot him a text. He's a Brazilian with some sweet dreadlocks.

He doesn't know me as Sombeech, so tell him you're Justin's friend.

Redspecialized and I decided to ride this route this morning. We rode the upper shoreline trail and then dropped into Beus canyon. With the new construction of a house castle and then the new big concrete tank, we lost the trail a few times. It was a great climb on the downhill rig and I think that I prefer the section of trail starting at 12th or 22nd street and riding south. It was nice to try a new trail. Thanks to Ryan for suggesting it.
