Last weekend me and my brother went down to North Wash area and did Monkey business (west fork of west butler) and Foolin' Around (East fork of West Butler). It was a really fun trip Monkey business was a fun real cool looking canyon and the weather was awesome for Friday. Saturday was looking a little off on the weather so we went and blazed through Hogwarts for fun and right after that sun came out and it got hot so we drove to lake Powell. We hiked down the shore a couple of miles and found a spot to swim, we shared the spot with a 4 1/2 to 5 foot bull snake. Sunday we got up and went through Foolin' Around, another great weather day. This canyon was also lots of fun. We had a close call in monkey business that reminded us why we wear helmets, about a minute or two after we had gone through a slightly more open section of the canyon after the first rappel, a large lens of sandstone pealed off the wall of the canyon and crashed right where we had been walking. It hit the wall and shattered first so with helmets it might have been survivable but with out them would have been bad news. There seemed to be a lot of evidence for recent rock fall in both canyons and the Kelsey exit.
