Bootleg Canyon Trails

We took a trip to Bootleg Canyon just outside Boulder City, NV to check out the trails down there. Super fun trails, friendly locals, and a cheap shuttle service to boot- highly recommended destination.

I don't know....with that 8 second start with a bunch of shirtless guys I thought I was going to end up watching a gay porn flick! that stuff up top is pretty gnarly. We mostly ride the XC trails down low due to the hardtails. I love Bootleg. It takes me like 15 minutes to get out there and start riding!

Hey Dan and Brock, you guys were riding the old downhill race course trail section. I Remember racing down there sometime in 2000. I have an old picture at the starting line where you can see Lake Mead in the background. You guys were hammering that trail. Were there any other similar difficulty trails in the area to ride ? Its been 11 years since I have ridden down there and that was the only challenging trail in the network at that time and of course there were some big bmx style jumps at the bottom.

There are something like 10 downhill trails there now, all of them pretty gnarly. The racecourse last year was snakeback and reaper, which is most of the footage in this video. The race course must have stayed the same since you last raced it. The other trails in this video are armageddon and a few others that i never got the name of. Fun fun riding down there
