We spent a few days in Moab and had time to do U-Turn. We started later than we wanted so the day was really warm. We started up the crack around 11:00 and made it to the top around noon. The views from the top were amazing. We have been in the park before but viewing everything from up above was breath taking. We took time to enjoy lunch from above knowing that most people don't get to see what we were seeing.
After lunch we found the first rap without any problems and started our way down. The raps were fun to do and climbing around the red rocks was worth the trip. The webbing and anchors that were there were in good shape at all the raps. We did place a Rapid at the last rap because I didn't feel good using the light aluminum rap ring.
I'm looking forward to the next trip to Moab.
