Seychelle water bottle

Anyone tried one of these? I was given one for Christmas. I have always pumped my water to filter it and these new fangled things are unfamiliar to me. Anyone have experience with this brand?

I have one as well, my problem has been that for use backpacking (where I would want a filter) is that it does not cover the tenant of duel use. The only thing this is good for is getting a drink of water.. getting water to cook with or clean with I have to have another treatment method.... Now if you are planning to use chemical treatment for your water on a trip than it is good to have so you have yummy tasting water :) :crazycobasa:

Yah, I haven't used chemical treatments since I was a Boy Scout. Nasty water for sure. I see the concern as to the dual applications. I guess I could suck the water into my mouth and spit it into a pot for cooking...:lol8: Looks like it would be good for day hikes but not back packing.
