The U.S. Magistrate Court judge in Flagstaff has banned a St. George, Utah man from Grand Canyon National Park for kayaking on the Colorado River without a permit.

It's this kind of crap that makes me wish I was living in the time when John Powell roamed the southwest where permits didn't even exist :angryfire:
If I actually really loved Kayaking I probably would have done the same; however kayaking isn't my forte.

Seems kinda fair.. it can take 3 years to get a permit.. or go without a permit and then get banned for 3 years :)
