St George is so great. Windy this last weekend but no rain on my helmut. The Rim Trails, Sidewinder, and Barrel Roll (Black Brush too) all essentially share the same trailhead. New to us was a nice section of singletrack that starts close to the river and eliminates the bumpy drive to the trailhead which is signed as Cove Wash Trailhead. Cove Wash is not my favorite trail.

Bogley made me buy a GoPro, but they won't make you watch my video from the Rim Trails and Sidewinder (however, watch the video and see the monster that eats Sidewinder eggs for breakfast):

Nice video, man! Yeah, I liked the Google Earth view at the beginning too, nice touch. Good thing you didn't find out the hard way about your front wheel. :lol8:

I have spent years hunting, walking, horseback riding, mountain biking, motorcyling and offroad 4-wheeling and I have never seen a Gila monster in Southern Utah. My mom was born and raised in Santa Clara and she said that she saw these lizards all the time. What an experience, thanks for the video.

I rode with MtnBkr on this ride. The Gila was cool!

Here is the elusive Gila Monster we saw on Sidewinder.
