My wife and I took a weekend trip to the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve outside of St. George. It was a truly amazing place! We did the Arch Trail, Red Reefs Trail, Anasazi Trail, and a couple other that I'm not sure of the name of. Make sure you study well before you go if you decide to do so. Outside of the main camping area most of the trail heads are hard to find and the map from the visitors center is of little help. We spent almost as much time looking for the trail heads as we did actually hiking!

Ya that is full. It's definitely a good water year for Southern Utah. A month ago, Gunlock waterfalls were roaring...very cool

The Paradise and Cottonwood trails are fun too. A lot of the locals grumble about the Reserve, but it is really great to have hiking opportunities a few minutes from town.

Man, I miss this place. I use to go there all the time when I was a kid.

Red Cliffs is a favorite. I've been three times this year already with family, church youth group, etc. One change of note since last year is that the "final" mini-slot with waterfall received five feet or so of rock slide. There's no longer a swim required to access the waterfall and area beyond. Kinda sad, but that's the nature of the canyons.
