There have been rumors floating around the internet for weeks about a story HBO was doing for its Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel that would not shed a favorful light on Auburn. The program is set to air on Wednesday night, but Brooks from SportsByBrooks received an advanced copy of the show, and there are quite a few bombshells dropped in the interview.

Brooks was kind enough to transcribe the interviews (http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/ex-auburn-players-claim-systematic-pay-to-play-29592). Here's a taste of the talk between HBO's Andrea Kremer and former Auburn Tiger Stanley McClover.
[INDENT]Kremer voiceover:

And did any of you watch this program?

it was on ESPN's 30 for 30 series. It's a good/interesting show.

So disappointing. :angryfire: I am not too sure what to do to fix the problem. Seems no one is caught. Only some come forward after it is too late to do anything about it. The NCAA is loosing credibility daily.

college football is just a farm club for the pros anyway. considering the amount of money that collage athletics generates from tv contracts etc.. the players should be getting a cut. not just a football thing either, basketball is the same way.

Actually the problems in basketball are considered much worse then football.... two outstanding basketball players on your team are worth a lot more then two outstanding football players.... meaning its easier to buy a good basketball team.
