Trying to decide what to get? I have several wetsuits but what about a dry suit? Tom, how well are ZAC's holding up when wearing the coveralls over them?

Yep, spent mine too. Went to the garage sale in Sandy, UT last Saturday. Was the second card picked so I made it in with reasonable stuff left. Got a pair of snow shoes, then went and bought some new hiking pants.

I used my REI dividend on a Mammut Trion guide 45L climbing pack. It is so cool all I want to do is just lay there and kiss and cuddle with it.

I favor Merrill boots heavily but I make sure to get the ones with the metal grommets for the laces. The cloth ones wear out long before the shoe itself. Of course I am bombing down scree slopes and whatnot so I am a little hard on them. I have three pair and the two with the cloth lace holders I have to tie with some creative shenanigans because hey, they are still good boots, just the lace holders were crap. but I am wiser now I buy the metal shoe lace grips.

Way with you on the cloth issue. I bought Merrell Sights which is like a low cut sneaker height boot-all metal lace holes and stout leather uppers. I would wear them with my Tux if they made them in patent leather.:haha:
