Name that Canyon

Last week I did a futile search for the panel with the owl off Kane Creek Road south of Moab, Utah. I'd heard it was in the vicinity of the Amasa Back trailhead about 5 miles south of downtown Moab. After parking in the large dirt lot on the righthand (west) side of the road, I started by searching along the creek below the parking lot. No trails and no pictorgraphs. Next, I crossed Kane Creek Road to the east and headed up the side canyon. Lots of great pictographs inlcuding the one below. But, I never did find the pictograh with the owl. Anyone know the name of this side canyon and was I close to the owl panel? Marlen

I don't believe that side canyon has a name. The owl panel is on the other side of the canyon from that side canyon. You can see if from the road if you know where to look (and have good vision or binoculars)
