Greetings from the Midwest

Hey everyone, I'm new to the site as well. Can't wait to start planning some trips. I like extended camping/canoeing/hiking (which I usually do in the Northern WI/MN area), but hope to move West in the next year - excited for a bigger 'playground'. I do competitive waterskiing a lot, but hope to improve my climbing and other outdoor skills. Other things I enjoy are good beer, live music, and cheap whiskey. Excited to be with people who enjoy the outdoors as much as I do. :) -Katie

I wish it was ski season, can't wait to hit the course/jump. I've only skied in March (in IA) once, but maybe that'll change soon. Here's a pic of my friend Pat filming at a ski school I worked at in NC;42368 jimmy rigged for sure, but it got the job done.

I'm also from the midwest but have been made to feel very welcome here. A lot of it is due to everyone having similar interests. There's a lot of great people with good advice to be found at Bogley.
