...Thoughts on this time a year :2thumbs: The orange trees are blooming, the scent that orange blossom gives off is like nothing I have smelled before. I wish this scent was bottled :slobber:

59* out now, doors and windows open, orange blossom permeating throughout the house, Daylight Saving Time on the horizon, raptors having babies (everything having babies), life is great :2thumbs:

In Ogden I had two Mock Orange trees. I loved the blooms. I can only imagine what a real orange tree in blossom smells like. :2thumbs:

The scent of orange blossoms is an aphrodisiac - I love living next to an orange grove!

I have a Canadian red cherry in my back yard. I can't wait for it to blossom. It has a gorgeous smell.

Yeah, yeah, Mr. Smartypants - you and your fragrant orange blossoms :fitz:. Rub it in some more, why don't ya? The rest of us are still seeing snow, lots of mud, and that unsavory late winter landscape in our areas. Looking forward to seeing something green now! But, DMR (aka Purgatory) got 18" of fresh snow 3 days ago, so the skiers are still happy .

Seriously, though - orange blossom scent is insanely intoxicating, isn't it? When I grew up in Tucson, we had two trees right next to the house. It was heavenly, and the trees were swarming with bees. I wouldn't want to live in FL (except maybe for a month in winter), but years ago I did go to Miami in Feb for a conference when I was living in Flagstaff - it was awesome. Sunny, warm, some time on the beach, and I got to eat Cuban food - woot!

Sure the heck is, I wish this could be bottled :haha: One of the worse scents, maybe in the top five, when they are making the juice at the plant. They do something, I don't know if it's the rind, but the putrid odor that emits from the plants is horrible.

These libby's around here are so sensitive :bandit: I think some of them really need a hug. Their moms must have lacked in that area :lol8:
