What a great resource site! I've been into the Anasazi since taking a Sierra Club trip to Hovenweep about 20 years ago. Since then I've been fortunate enough to spend lots of time in Utah. This Saturday we're taking the whole family to Moab for spring break. This site has sparked several hikes for us to do.
Also, just finished House of Rain by Craig Childs. About 15 (or more) years ago I read In Search of the Old Ones by David Roberts. I was so enthralled with the book, we llama-packed into Grand Gulch as David did in the chapter The Sucked Orange. Excellent trip! Marlen
