I saw the commercial for 127 Hours on DVD/Blu-ray (out today) and noticed a shot which I don't think was in the movie: the trio walking away from a fairly large arch. The shot is quick (and 1/4 size) in the commericial. Anyone know where this is? I know there is a drive-by shot of Wilson Arch in the film, but I don't think this other shot was in there unless I totally missed it. I don't think it's Wilson Arch -- unless it's a weird angle. Any ideas?

OK... I finally found a version online so I did a framegrab. Hopefully this will help...

Looking Glass Arch

I was thinking the back side of Wilson Arch. I'd post a pic, but all my pics of that are on film. We know they shot near there.

I'll save you the trouble... it's Looking Glass Arch.

But it does appear the movie has had some photoshopping work done to it as the old fence is not visable.... among other items...

Cool. Thanks guys.

That seems like a little out of the way while hiking from Upper to Lower Blue John, no?

I've tried that... the quality at a reasonable price did not impress. Current standards are high.

I have one of these(similiar, not this exact one) that I used in conjunction with my Canon 5D to convert a bunch of slides my parents had. I was impressed by the quality of the digital copies.

When you say film do you mean 35mm, medium or large format? Medium/Large format has always intrigued me.
