arrchiving messages

so i get a message from admin saying i am reaching my limit for messages. is there an easy way to archive the ones i would like to save? looked for a sticky and did the obligatory search for "archiving messages" with no success.

Private Messages? I thought I did away with that, I can raise that up if we need it. I'll check it out tonight.

That's kind of ironic as I hit my cap yesterday evening...

on further review i can't even tell how to delete the messages except by doing them individually. i can see that i can select several messages by checking a box on the right of the messages in my inbox,but there is no option to "delete selected messages".

After you click on the messages to delete, go straight below the checked boxes and theres a box that says--"selected messages" click on it and you'll find the delete option, just deleted a bunch of mine today.

ah ha! i saw that but didn't realize that it was a drop down menu. got it. cheers! :2thumbs:

I'll still look into the limit thing, but here's an FYI. You can select MASS private messages by hitting the box at the "time filter separator" or whatever it's called, such as deleting all messages from 1 month ago...

And then it automatically checks everything below it in that section.
