A friend of mine yesterday asked me if it was possible to go from the top of Olympus over to Gobbler's Knob. Actually, I'm sure it's possible, but what's the difficulty of such a hike/scramble? From what I remember, looking east from the top of Oly there's a huge drop off down into Heughs Canyon to the south, and maybe Neff's to the north? Seems like there may be a ridge down there in between the two --well of course, you'd get to Mt. Raymond before Gobblers-, but it seems like you may have to drop down quite a ways to get to it.
Well, if you have some first hand knowledge, let me know.

yes, the route is called Wildcat Ridge. It follows the ridge line from olympus to triangle peak over to Mt Raymond. Goblers Knob is only one peak past Mt Raymond. As I understand past Olympus you are commited to the hike. no easy way down until at the pass of Neffs & Mill B of BCC.

Thanks, trackrunner. How rugged is it, do you know?

It's considered the most rugged ridge route commonly done in the Wasatch. It is a very long day and much harder than for example, Lone Peak via its standard routes.

Thanks, Scott. I'm going to let my friend know...he'll probably reconsider, and should.
