That's a hard one. I don't think I would pick a nature shot, but as for most beautiful nature place....

I liked it inside Kolob Canyon.

Hard to say, but near Photographers Point, Wind Rivers is on my list:

41630

Another on the list is Havasupai, both Havasu Falls and Mooney Falls. Unfortunately these pictures were taken before the "digital age" then scanned, so the colors don't pop that well.

I don't know, but maybe this place:
41728

Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta. Funny, but we also paddled Moraine Lake and Emerald Lake on the same trip. I see they both made this thread as well.

That area is truly amazing - -for anyone who hasn't been there, I strongly recommend adding this to your list of places to see.

I'll have to pull out a couple of old photos for a few of the places. Here's a scan of a photo from my trip to Yellowstone in 2002.

Love this shot Win

Me too. It really has a "sense of place".

I keep scratching my head to find a shot for this thread, but I just don't have one I think qualifies. The places I want to nominate I just don't have high quality digital scans for them. My top contender is Gokyo Ri in Nepal. I have a so-so scan of it, but then I saw Dan's recent pictures and I can't bring myself to post my own version. Another top contender I don't have any digital photos of is the Evolution Valley of King's Canyon NP.

OK, this is not really *the* most beautiful place but I've got a good picture and it is a pretty darn beautiful place. Sometimes beauty is in a smaller scale but it's the emotion of the place that counts to me. Do you get that rush of rapture as you stand there and take in view? Buckskin definitely did that for me...

I usually just lurk, but this is a thread worth chiming in on...

Most beautiful place I have ever seen? Impossible to say, because I haven't seen it yet.

Hmmm, strange philosophy gnwatts.

I've been to many beautiful places, but what would make me think it was the "most" beautiful would be the feelings I experienced there - so much different than most beautiful picture. One of those places would be this beaver pond on Lime Creek Road near Durango Colorado.

Things are getting more and more beautiful all the time, it's hard to say what is the "most" beautiful, but I liked this place a lot in Dominguez Canyon:
