My coach made me ride 31.5 miles with 3,500 feet of climbing as a warm-up before we headed over to Gooseberry. Luckily he let me wait until the next day to ride the Goose. Thought I'd try the Gmap4 map posting method since this track won't fit on a Google Map single page. And I'll attach an annotated Google Earth file just in case Gmap4 disappears.

This cross country ride includes some doubletrack, and requires a couple of barbed wire fence crossings, but the singletrack in the Reserve and where it is too tough for 4 wheelers is wonderful. And there is more that we didn't get a chance to ride. Will be going back down soon.

There were some short wet spots on Stucki and Rattlesnake, but the Goose was completely dry, road and all. (2/10/2011).

Hang on a second, did you get yourself a new bike and not bother to tell me about it?

Had to get something to match my fork. Disc brakes are great.

Very Nice Gene! I've been telling you that you would like disc breaks for two years now. I'm glad you finally joined the ranks.

Nice pic on the climb. Looks like in my opinion the most difficult part of the Zen Trail. I recognize that spot and I have never been able to clear it.
