I have a free technology that can take photos and turn them into 3D textured models and point clouds. These models can be used to document anything in 3D and monitor changes over time or just dimensional study. I am looking for some who have several ruin photos to contact me so I can use their photos to create and build some 3D models for testing.

I am just looking to further develop the technology and use old ruins like Doll House or other nicely preserved ruins. I am looking to also go down West of Blanding etc to gert a series of photos to use buyt the weather is not ready to let me in yet so I thought I would ask in here. I will not reveal any locations or share the images without your explicit permision.

The only thing required is the photos can not have been cropped as the focal length is used in the calcutations to generate 3D points and also I need a series of photos where you can see the same point on three photos.

This technology can be used to generate 3D models of most anything you can photograph. You can even try the public version of this software yourself at http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/photo_scene_editor/. You can even create that arch or canyon or perhaps your jeep and in a 3D model for use in animation or CAD software and then even creating a 3D printed model.

Interested in helping me get some anasazi ruin images?
