El Yunque Puerto Rico

Going to Puerto Rico over spring break :bandit:
1. Anyone have any suggestions for hiking in El Yunque?
2. Anyone do any scuba in Puerto Rico, if so where? Suggestions?

I knew it was a long-shot but I had hoped someone had hiked in El Yunque...I will bring back a good trip report!

Been over 25 years since my only day hike in El Yunque. I rented a car in San Juan and was easily able to drive to the park. I have no recollection of the visitor center or if I even had any trail map handout. I do recall that the trails were well designed and not difficult to follow. Very lush.

Back then you could get a cheap roundtrip hop from San Juan to St Thomas. And St John's National Park was just a short ferry ride from there. If El Yunque doesn't do it for you, the trails on St John surely will.
