I felt like the moto forum needed a little love so i took along my iphone on the ride and tried to snap a few pics. Not as many pics as i would have liked since it was messing up my rythem. Most of the pics are in the tamer areas.
With perfect weather we were able to get in a nice ride. We ride this loop or a variation or two every saturday morning. Its about 36 miles long. A total blast. Temps were in the high 50's. Just a little tad toasty when hitting the whoop sections. We started at about 9:30 and had a ride time of 90 minutes and a stopped time of 30 minutes or so. A nice ride. Enjoy.
For some reason. It wont let me upload the pics from tapatalk for some weird reason. You'all will have to wait till i get home!

Yeppers. The temperatures we're super nice. I love Vegas this time of year. All of you utards need to start setting time aside for our Paiute Trail trips this spring and summer!

I take the DR out about once a month. It's normally on more tame terrain with occasional single track. It's hard the ride that bike aggressively in the whoops or hard singletrack since it's so much more heavy than the YZ. But it's way more comfortable on the touring stuff. Get out of the cold, come down here. You can ride it or the YZ, both my buddy and I have two bikes. Company is always welcome!

A little update. We went out this past saturday again and ended up riding in the rain and snow. Lots of fun but pretty miserable. Hands and bodies were freezing about halfway through our 40 mile loop. Then as our trail got higher and higher on the ridges we ended up in 2-3 inches of snow. I wish I'd had a GoPro. Anyways here's a short video of us at our halfway point watching the weather turn even worse.

I am glad we didn't go. Driving 5-6 hours one way for that. No thanks! :fitz:

You missed a good time. There is no such thing as bad riding, its always fun. But saturday's conditions were pretty miserable but we enjoyed ourselves. We'll get together eventually at least for the annual bogley paiute trip.
