Going to St. George

Hi all! I'm heading to St.George over Feb 4-6 to do some riding. I want to pre-ride I cup's desert rampage course. I wanted to know how are the trail conditions down there? And I'll be camping, where would be the best place to camp? I don't need any hookups, or even water. By my best research, I can just do dispersed camping at a pre-existing sites right near the race course. Is this correct? Any help would be appreciated.

ya you can camp anywhere down there. i've never ridden the course, never really had a desire too. but all the trails down here are dry.
