this was the story I was sent on those photos ....

These photos were taken Wednesday, 29 Dec 10 by a Uinta Co sheriff while
he closed the road for them to cross. 12 miles out of Evanston, WY - -
- 2'600 head crossed - - - - that's allota' elk!!

A friend i Uinta County, Wyoming sent these to me several weeks ago. We both figured they were elk from the Deseret Ranch west of Evanston. No doubt an impressive bunch of elk.
