I just wish they were honest about how it REALLY works.

here is how I see it...

customer walks in with a rare gun to sell


TV - Rick: "WOW, was a rare firearm not really sure about this let me call in an expert". The expert comes in says its worth 10grand, Rick buys it for 4grand and makes a 6grand profit and everyone is happy.

Reality - Rick: "Total POS I have 10 in the back, i will give you 50 bucks". Customer walks away with 50 bucks and Rick knows its a rare gun worth 10grand and makes a $9550 profit.

Most people should see what the rare stuff would auction for from companies such as Sotheby's etc. They take the offer too quickly sometimes without researching what they could really get for their items.
