I was just curious as to what everyones plans are for trips this year. I am not much of a winter camper but managed to take a snowshoe trip in North Odgen Divide this past weekend. I would also like to hit some of the backcountry hot springs as well. Here are some other trips I am taking:
1. February: Uintas, Cross country skiing and snowcaving
2. March or April: St. George/Zions area
3. May: Coyote Gulch
4. June: Boulder Mail Trail/Death Hollow/Escalante river
5. July: Undecided
6. August: Yellowstone with the family
7. September: Red Castle Lakes, Uintas
I am looking for more trips to take. I may take one down to Spooky Gulch and surrounding slot canyons.
Where are you headed this year?

Tough to get out there from the East coast but for me:
Next week: quick trip to Coyote Buttes North
early october: a week in/around Moab. Nothing planned yet, only got a taste of it last year (3 days), but will be looking for suggestions for sure!
Summer: Several trips to Acadia N.P. in Maine.

Arizona for spring break. Once snowboarding season is done, Great Western Trail over Boulder Mountain, Uinta's all summer, and trying to convince the crew to head for the Winds as well. I might be heading to Mt Hood too in Aug, that has yet to be determined.

I might be up for a May trip. I'd love to hit Utah again (slots are my fav!). I would be coming in from Florida so I'd need to plan well ahead to book flights and transportation.

April: road tripping to the Florida Keys for scuba and sea kayaking, may detour for a day to the Everglades for backcountry kayaking/camping. Stopping at Caneveral for the shuttle launch on the way home!
May: Kayaking the Cumberland islands in SE Georgia.
Any time May - Sept: trying to find a group I can tag-along with for a Utah canyoneering trip. Moab? CNP? I'm flexible.
July/Aug: scuba/lobstering in the Keys.

Get the wife out on a backpack trip. One week in Southerner Colorado. Hike Telluride to Ouray. Aspen to Creste Butte. The rest of the weekends camp in Rockies!!
I live for trips!
Feb (passed) was Whistler, Canada
Mar (passed) was Yelapa, Mexico
Apr - maybe a Vegas weekend getaway (I'm still in school though)
May - celebratory Stillwater Canyon canoe trip
June - a couple weekend trips to City of Rocks for climbing
July - mountain bike trip to Ketchum/Stanley maybe, or Tetons, or both!
Aug - long weekend to San Juan Islands, WA; maybe Tetons again
Sept - Florida trip, maybe a desert trip for biking/climbing
Oct - maybe a desert trip for biking/climbing
Last summer my summer break was 15 weeks, I was gone 10 of those weekends! And classes will be officially over FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE (I'm excited, if you cannot tell) in just 5.5 weeks.
