I've watched the video a couple of times now and I believe the defender was going for the ball and was just as surprised as the receiver. I'd like to see the coaches game tape to see for sure.... still.... it was a big hit...

Sweet solid and clean hit, looks like the receiver got shaken up as much by the landing as the collision, and the defender flipped completely over and got right up. Sweet video.
