Where is that first one from?

All four pictures were made at the Sandcove in the CBN area.
The first one shows a so called "Boxwork". Here is an explanation how they form:

Great pics. I'm going to Coyote Buttes North, South and White Pocket this weekend. Got coords to Sand Cove? Or just rough directions from where everything else is?

Hi ibenick,

you won't need coords. Sandcove is easy to find. When you head for the Wave, there's one last uphill with a large sanddune you have to hike up. When you want to hike Sandcove you turn right (West) just before that dune and follow the wash. It soon becomes almost a slot (see second pictures which is taken while looking back to the "Wave-Trail"). After probably 20 Minutes of walking it widens again and you're in Sand Cove (Top Rock is to your left side).

On the South End of Sandcove there's a good possibility to hike up Top Rock. But about this part of the hike I can give you no information because we turned around at this point.
Oh and beware of Rattle Snakes :mrgreen: The first time we saw one in nature was here.
