Some batteries are just better than others. If you have something that's really working good for you, I'd like to know about it before I go out and purchase some batteries and a charger. I'm actually considering getting these:http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-Eneloop-Charger-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B003VLAEPQ/ref=pd_cp_e_0
because they are reviewed very highly, but I've also heard that the charger itself isn't that good and better options may be available.

I'm using this charger and so far it seems to work well.

I have a set of Ansman rechargables and they seem to work OK and also have a set of Eneloops. In the future I will probably stick with Eneloops although the Ansman batteries have worked well.

Those eneloops are awesome. I use them in my GPS and get way longer than the predicted life. Apple uses the same batteries just re-wrapped with their logo which should also give an indicator to their high quality.
I use the Eneloops, too, they last longer than any other I've tried. For a charger I got the MAHA C-9000, also from Thomas Distributing.
