Yes.

this is a 'stock calendar' using my uploaded images, thus has the normal grids, with US holidays, no funny stuff.

Ahhh, excellant. Turned out great. I'm gonna fish around and see if someone wants to split the shipping for two, then, put in an order. I'm flush with calendars but this one's too good to pass up.

Be fun sometime to do one "Bucky" style. Toss some strange dates in it. Like, canyon firsts, accidents, etc.

Thanks,

Ear mark one as sold to me, then.

Yeah, bring a pile of them. Fair number of willing victims...!

So do people with pics in the calendar get any kind of discount? :lol8:

I was thinking photographers get 5 calendars free, models get one, except in the Black Hole shot...

That works :)

Looks like a nice calendar. If you plan on going more in depth next year with custom dates... etc. and if you have a designer you work with - I know of a very awesome InDesign script that generates the guts of calendars for you. You can put in different kinds of dates into text files and it will feed them into the days automatically for you (i.e. have a holidays list, and then another list for canyoneering related stuff... like when the backcountry desk switches to summer hours, etc) It will even do phases of the moon and other stuff and throw that on. It's pretty slick.

(A few years ago I saw my wife making scrapbooking calendars and I commented on how that was really inefficient, and inadvertently volunteered myself to do them on the computer and print them... since I have a graphic design background it was easy)

the script is here: http://calendarwizard.sourceforge.net/

I've even contributed patches to that script to make it do things that I need / want for those family calendars I make. If you have a designer you work with you can pass that along to him (or if you do InDesign yourself you can pass it along to yourself). It is pretty awesome how much stuff it does for you and how configurable it is.

The calendar printer seems to think that delivering them Dec 23rd with an apology is equivalent to delivering them Dec 8th as promised. :angryfire: We have had some discussion about how time works, and promises, :nono: and I think I have secured an earlier ship date that will have them in hand for the Holiday Party. I certainly have secured a promise to that effect. Let's just say, I AM holding my breath!

Wondering if the calenders in 2012 will have tec tip applicable to the month or have scheduled canyoneering activities for the year just an idea. The pics are great!

I think not - just concentrating on Canyon Porn. I am twisting Dan's arm to supply the photos - we'll see.

Calendars traditionally go to press in the August-September timeframe, so it would be difficult to put in the next year's schedule that far in advance.

Well in that case I expect a center fold next year! Cool well you can count me in for next year as well, especially if you get Dan on board supplying the photos. :2thumbs:
