It is time to upgrade. My shock has been leaking more and more air. I am tired of airing it up and I would like a lock-out lever. Here is my current setup. It looks like I need a 6.5 or 165 mm? I would like to find a closeout or last years model for maybe around 200 bones. I hear fox and cane creek are the best.

Opinions?

I've got a Fox RP23 on my Titus and it's been deadly reliable for the past 2+ years. I rebuilt it about 3 months ago and that cost about $15 and took all of 20 minutes, ridiculously simple compared to motorcycle shocks and forks. No idea how much they cost new but I have a brand new Rock Shock Minute (I think that's what it's called) sitting in the garage if you're interested.

I have a 2009 Fox RP23 that won't fit my new frame that I am looking to get rid of. I will have to go home and measure the eye to eye length on it though.........Plus, it would definitely come in under $200 if it'll work for you.

RockShox MC3.3 - came with the frame so it's a few years old but never has had any trouble. You tell me what you're comfortable paying and I'll ship it to you:mrgreen:

So mine won't fit your frame. But I saw this one on KSL:

Thanks again. I should be set after a stop over at go-ride for some bushings. Then I can throw it on the garage for 3-4 months... :lol8:

I read somewhere that the RPL it lighter then the RP23. If so... :2thumbs:

You are going to like that shock. I also went with the fox 9 x 3.0 I had go ride weigh my bike and it shaved off 1/2 lbs. Now it is 47lbs.:cool2:

Yeah, I've still got the Rock Shox. I guess I better go out to the garage and measure it.

Okay I measured my Pearl 3.1, it's 8.5 inches from eye to eye. It's probably a little long for the shorter travel bikes that have been talked about, it's a spare that came with my Titus El Guapo frame that sports 165mm of travel!
