Finally, I was able to touch up some pics. Way more taken, but these ones stuck out. I did some panoramas which are very large. 6.5 miles round trip with 700 feet of elevation change. The 700' up on the way out was the hardest.

Sand is wet and packed so it is a nice hike down in the canyon.

Nice! That first one is killer. Did you come in from Green River or Highway 24? How was the road?

Thanks! The road was fine before the latest rain and snow which hit that night. Very smooth and I could have took a higher riding car in there. Not our Prius though. A little low to the ground.

Came in from 24 by Goblin entrance.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. I was there weekend before last and the colors of the cotton wood trees against the sky and rock were amazing. I burned up quite a few mega pixels myself too.

Regarding the road--we came in from Goblin and went out through Green River. The road is fine. A couple of the washes closer to Horse Shoe canyon were interesting but could easily be done with a Subaru.
