We hit this after the Zen Trail yesterday:

This is a great trail if you only have an hour to ride.

the funny part is i've ridden this trail about 40 times and last night was the first time i crashed on that upper section...:lol8:

but if those punks didn't change the course and put put rocks in places they didn't belong then I'm sure i would have been fine. :angryfire:

Thx Scott!! Living down here is agreeing with me. So much to do and see. It was great to see you guys. I miss riding with the Bogley crew. I have to say I am moonlighting.... found a group out of Vegas that rides a bunch!! So when they head over this way I tag along. I road up at Briand Head with them on Dark Hollow, gave them a good scare when I went over the handle bars. :haha: Darn root, it came out of no where and yanked me off the trail. Hoping to head down their way and check out Boot Leg Canyon. I hear good things about that place!

If you ride Bootleg canyon, you may want to wear some arm and knee protection. The terrain consists of numerous sharp rocks. One crash there will result in getting stitches at a minimum. I did some racing down there in 2001 and 2002.

Thanks Shawn. I will remember that and take my protection. I forgot it when I rode Dark Hollow but rented some up there and was very glad I paid those few extra dollars. I am so tired of the bruises and wicked trail rash.
